LifeCare Behavioral Health Hospital provides acute inpatient psychiatric treatment for a variety of mental illnesses and accompanying medical issues for adults ages 18 and older. Located in Pittsburgh, the hospital features 49 private rooms for patients in a safe, caring environment.
Led by board-certified psychiatrists, our highly trained group of physicians, nurses, social workers and case managers work together to provide individualized care for each patient because no two patients are alike, and neither are their journeys. We encourage family members and significant others to participate in the process. Depending on a patient’s individual care plan, treatment can include comprehensive psychiatric and psychological assessments, neuropsychiatric testing, psychology services, intensive medication management, weekly patient/family conferences with the treatment team, extensive social services and case management, and daily group therapy in a secure environment.

Ultimately, this collaborative approach can lead to shortened hospital stays and improved outcomes.
