Tahoe Pacific Hospitals to Provide Services Within Northern Nevada Medical Center


Tahoe Pacific Hospitals has entered into a lease agreement with Northern Nevada Medical Center (NNMC) and will relocate its Reno West facility to NNMC later this summer.  The 21-bed long term acute care hospital, currently located on the campus of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, will move eight miles to NNMC’s Sparks campus at 2375 E. Prater Way in August.

LifeCare Hospitals of Pittsburgh Expands Market Presence


LifeCare Hospitals of Pittsburgh continues to expand its presence in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area with the proposed acquisition of Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh North Shore. Though Kindred plans to discontinue treating patients at the long term acute care hospital on Arch Street prior to completion of the transaction, LifeCare will welcome patients and consolidate operations at its four Pittsburgh-area facilities. The transaction is expected to be completed later this summer.
